This system mainly consists of mash tun, wort kettle, settling tank, centrifugal pump, heat exchanger, electrical control cabinet.
Main flowchart: convey the grindered malt to the mash tun, at the same time, add the hot water into mash tun for saccharifying, then pump to wort kettle after saccharifying and boil it for 60-90minutes, then the centrigual pump will transter it through heat exchanger for post fermentation system.
According to sanitary requirement for food industry, the material is food grade SUS304, the inner tank surface are polish-grinded to assure a smooth surface finish; round transition for the connection of sealing head, and pipings, no blind corner, easy for cleaning; rock wool insulation, built-in stainless stainless steel filter screen, slag discharged from side of tank body, vetical and straight tank with conical bottom; top with CIP cleaning ball, top input point, and bottom outlet point and drain outlet.
Saccharifying means mix the water with grinded malt, and heat the mixture then keep it at the constant temperature (usually 62℃ and 73℃), so that the enzyme inside the malt can resolve the starch to sugar (usally the maltose). The wort will be discharged from the bottom outlet after going through the stainless steel screen, the malt grain will be discharged from manhole in sidepiece.
